June 2010

Summer is officially here and we started it off with swim lessons:
First day: He was so excited to be there- he kept running towards the pool
Weee! He loved jumping in the pool.

He really enjoyed it until I dunked him- he wasn't too happy with me. So everyday we saved the dunking for the very end, and no, he never got used to it. Poor little guy, hopefully next year!

He really loved the days daddy came to swim lessons- he got to fly way up in the air!

On the last day we got to play in the kiddy pool
He's got his game face on in this pic

He does this all the time and anywhere (the floor, the bed, the couch, the pool, etc)! I call it his yoga pose, but I think one day he may actually do a somersault.

Tristen (his cousin) had swim lessons before Bryson so he got to play with him in the pool

He did good for his first time in the pool, but he still has a long way to go before the olympics.

My favorite part about swim lessons: as soon as we got in the car, he was out.

Riding the train at the park

Nana giving Bryson a wagon ride at one of daddy's basketball tournaments
Notice the blankie stuffed in his mouth- he doesn't like a pacifier or thumb, he likes sucking on his blankie. He's like the little Linus character from Charlie Brown.

Our area got flooded in June- this is the view from our backyard. Our house was okay but there were a lot of people, including my parents that were affected.

Sleepy boy.

Father's Day out at the lake

Bluejean diaper baby :)

Cheese!
Bryson and Papo

There were fishing poles to catch the little perch in this tank, but Bryson decided to do it the easier way and just reach in and grab them.

Our garden is taking over the playground! But we are enjoying all the fruits and veggies!

So far its been a very exciting, fun summer!
