Family Photos By Krista Kay

Ryan's sister, Krista, is an amazing photographer who always takes great pictures of our little family and this year was no exception. In fact we really appreciate these wonderful pictures even more this year because Bryson has become no easy target. Keeping him still much less smiling or even happy is quite an adventure. On top of all that, Bryson fell on his face the day before these pictures and has strawberries all over part of his face AND he's cutting two teeth as well. So after knowing all that... you will be AMAZED by these pictures! :) Here are some of our favorites!

(OUR FAVORITE!)

Catch me if you can!

This is what we were dealing with most of the time.

Had to keep him moving!

Another infamous fit!

Had to take a break for some b-ball!

Krista didn't take this one- I forgot that I wanted a pose like this to include little Brayden in "family pictures" so we did the best we could at home:
That's Mommy's belly- aka Brayden's home for now- with Daddy, Mommy and Bryson's hands

Brayden Travis Parker

Yes, he has a name!
Brayden Travis Parker
Brayden- because we both really liked the name
Travis- After Tiffany's grandfather who passed away in 2006, and who also just so happened to be a really incredible guy. We hope Brayden Travis will grow up to be even half the man he was!
Profile body pic: He's kicking his legs all around in this picture

That's the culprit thats been kicking mommy lately :)

Yes, he is a boy.

And this is when he started waving. So she turned it to 3D and when Bryson saw, he started to wave back! Their first encounter with one another :)
We are getting so anxious to meet Mr. Brayden Travis! We can't wait!
And Bryson is even getting used to the idea- he pulls my shirt up and says "night, night" to baby Brayden every night (and actually says Brayden pretty well) and then gives mommy's belly a kiss, pats it, and then pulls the shirt down.
Now if we could just get him to stop punching/throwing his stuffed animals/toys, we may even let him get close to Brayden when he arrives :)

Spook-tacular October

We started off October with a trip to a local pumpkin patch/farm. We had lots of fun seeing all the animals, jumping on haystacks, taking a hayride, and all the other fun activities they had set up.
Its getting harder and harder to get a good shot of the little wiggle worm.

Nana, Bryson, Tristen & Pop

Aunt Krista, Bryson & big cuz Tristen

I have a pic of him from last year (its in last year's October post- sorry I'm too lazy to post both pics side by side, but I probably should so you can get the whole effect) But I'm pretty sure he grew.

Rubber duck races!

Corn is way easier to clean up than sand- though it is harder to build sand castles with

Of course his favorite activity was throwing this ball everywhere.

My little jack-o-lantern

Hayride!

One of Bryson's favorite activities at Yaya & Papo's is taking a boat ride.

He's the king of the boat

Helping Papo navigate the waters

Even though they aren't having the best season...

HOOK 'EM!

We went to a smaller pumpkin patch here in town to grab a couple more pictures

This is pretty much the best shot he would let us get because instead of taking pictures he wanted to do this...

WEEEEEEEEEE! Up and down the rows of pumpkins :)

Pumpkin Carving Time!
Scooping the pumpkin guts out

...and eating it of course. YUCK.

He had enough... he wanted to play football instead.

TA-DA! Look at all the hard work daddy... I mean I did!

OOOOOOOOOO..... spooky!

Halloween:
This year we decided to dress him as a boxer. We had to pick a costume that he would actually keep on and be comfortable in, and he did last most of the night with it.

Practicing his punches and jabs in the mirror.

Gloves up! Ready to go!

Check out the bib Aunt Krista got me!

Aunt T and Uncle Ryan with Dracula :)

Pop & Nana with their little goblins
Bryson giving daddy a very reluctant kiss

Yaya & Papo with their lil Champ

Ready to go Trick or Treating!
He did really well and seemed to enjoy running down the street and to everyone's house.
I thought all the dressed up people and monsters would scare him, but it didn't seem to bother him. It's so fun to watch him get more and more involved with everything as time goes on! (and in the same breath, it's a little hard to watch him grow up so quickly!)
We had a great Halloween and a great October as well!
