Sorry I'm late with this one but Oct/Nov has been a little more challenging than normal.
My grandfather passed away in the middle of October. He suffered from Alzheimer's for the past couple of years, and although I will miss him dearly, its also a blessing knowing he is finally at peace.
We also got a round of strep at our house that put us out for a good 2 weeks. Bryson got it first and then Brayden and I got it the next week. Not fun at all. And of course being the baby of the family, Ryan claimed he had it as well, but we all know he just wanted attention. (just kidding) But we are all healthy and happy now, and hopefully it lasts awhile!
So here was our October:

What a very special day!
So one day I was in Brayden's room with the boys when we heard a strange tapping on the window. When I opened the blinds I found this roadrunner sitting on the ledge just tapping away on the window. And even after he saw us at the window, he continued to just sit there and stare at us. It was amazing. I ran and got the camera, but by the time I got back, he ran over to our car. I still managed to get this pic. So cool!
Brayden loves his wagon rides!
And Bryson loves cruising in his Jeep:
Pumpkin Patch:
So Halloween marked the first day of Bryson's strep, so that meant high fever and a little boy who was not up for trick-or-treating. :( So Brayden and I pulled out a lawn chair in the driveway and handed out candy .
And daddy and Bryson hung out inside.
Bryson would have been his favorite race car ever, Lightening McQueen and Brayden was a race car driver.
Can you tell Bryson doesn't feel well?
So pitiful!
Brayden's First Halloween!
Cupcake Time- A great way to cheer up after battling strep for awhile! :)
Carving Pumpkins!
Please don't try this at home! Ryan's technique isn't the safest... unless you are trying to find a good birth control option.
Always a good time for kisses!
Have you ever seen a kid crawl like this? He's our little monkey!
Looking at the pumpkin guts before he decided that he'd rather not put his hand in there.
Love these guys!
Good job Bryson and Brayden (daddy)
Brayden is a big help with the laundry:
Getting so BIG!
See ya next month!
